Can you imagine what life was like as a bankrupt?
It was hard, but it was the best thing that happened to me.
Don’t believe me?
Let me share with you why…
The Young Life
When I was young, I was a gift to my parents. Not like a blessing or anything like that but a present.
You see, my biological parents gave me away as they were just too poor to bring me up.
Life with my adopted family was good. They loved me like I was their son. However, they too were not rich. We could not even afford a TV or a telephone. We lived with just basic necessities. At 11, I told myself that I would be rich when I grew up.
After graduating with an O’Level Certificate at 17, I went straight to work. I took odd jobs and saved all my money. Then, I went on to start a perfume business with my friends, using $2000 that I saved from working.
“This is going to make me rich!”
Or so I thought.
Sadly, my friends and I were cheated. Someone ran away with all our money and products. All of our hard-earned money, gone!
The next phase in my young life was 7 years in the armed forces as a regular and 11 good years in the insurance industry. (I earned quite a bit in the insurance industry)
Through this period of time, I realized one thing; I will not be rich working for people.
The Brave Soul
I decided to start my own business.
“I won’t get cheated this time.”
So in 1996, at the age of 36, I started my own business, a holiday resort business.
This time, I was determined to make this business a success, determined to be rich!
I decided not to take a salary until the company makes money. This was to show the investors that I was serious in making this business a success.
However, as good as it sounds, my business never made money. The expenses were much higher than the revenue. In order to sustain the business and my living expenses, I took on bank and credit card loans.
After a year of zero income, the money I owed to the banks grew too large for me to repay. The banks would hound me daily to repay but I was unable to do so. I had no choice but to join the exclusive Bankrupt Club…
The Bankrupt Club
I had officially lost all my money. Back to square one.
I had spent 20 years of my life trying to be rich but was made poorer than when I started.
“Was I destined to be poor all my life?”
The worse thing about being bankrupt is the feeling of being ignored and abandoned by everyone, including your loved ones.
If you were ever bankrupt before (I hope not), try asking for a small loan from your friends and family. Chances are they will not give you the loan. Friends might even leave you just because you are a bankrupt.
Personally, I don’t mind being bankrupt. It’s a fresh start financially. However, the only thing that pains me the most is that I made my beloved wife bankrupt. As she was the guarantor, she was made bankrupt together with me.
She was very upset. She does not deserve to suffer for the mistakes I made. That’s why I didn’t blame her when she decided to leave me. Now, it’s just my 3 kids and I.
The Hellish Life
Bankrupt woke me up from my utter lack of money management skills. This is my turning point in life, a point where I decided to educate myself in money and finance.
Life as a bankrupt supporting three kids (9, 7 and 3 years old) was really tough.
Imagine having no bank account and no credit cards, with three young kids who needs food, schoolbooks and stuff.
Imagine telling your kids that their dad has no money.
Imagine the pressure you would feel and the lengths you would go to in order to give your kids a sense of safety.
I was afraid that I would not be able to support my kids. So, I worked extremely hard in order to pay off my debts, taking on projects after projects. I’m lucky to have my kids as my support pillars to pull me through these tough times.
Path Towards A Better Life
I was not alone in the Bankrupt Club. There were many people who were once bankrupt and now live comfortable lives.
“If they can do it, why can’t I?”
I found out that most of them went to personal development courses. Therefore, I decided to follow suit. I went to many personal development courses. I also read books like ‘Rich Dad, Poor Dad’ to learn more about money management and finance.
In 3 years, I was discharged from my bankruptcy. 6 years later, my main debts were cleared. Life was starting to get better for my family and I.
The Huge Turning Point
Ever since I was bankrupt, I attended a lot of seminars. One of which, is property investing. The seminar taught us how we can buy properties with no money down.
“Hmm… this is interesting! How this be done in Asia?”
Soon, I started searching on how I could do this. Sure enough, I was right.
In fact, there was not just one way but also many ways to do so. I started acting on what I know and that’s when my property empire grew.
The Growth Of An Empire
Do you want to own multiple properties in Singapore and other parts of the world?
Do you want the freedom of not needing to worry about your finances?
If so, you would want to read carefully what I’m about to share with you. Read the following powerful secrets that most people do not know about.
Let me tell you why this discovery can change your life!
The price for a 4 room flat used to be only about $10,000 in the 60s and 70s. Now, you can’t buy a 4 room flat with $500,000. There are even condominiums in Singapore which costs no less than $1 million now.
Imagine owning a $500,000 flat and being able to sell it for $1 million a few years later. Ain’t that awesome!
This is one of the safest investments in my opinion. To me, if I can see, touch, lick and walk around in my investments, it’s quite safe. It probably would not disappear when I wake up the next day.
Not only that, the prices will not fluctuate too much as the government will make sure that the prices are affordable enough for its citizens.
Physical “Product”. Check
Government Assistance. Check
To me, it can’t be any safer than that.
Little Or No Money Needed
You know what the best thing about this discovery?
It’s the ability to buy properties for absolutely no money down.
Zero. Zilch. Nothing.
Imagine this. Imagine paying $0 for a one-room flat in Bukit Merah. You then rent this one-room flat out for, lets say, $200/month. Doing the math, that’s $200 every month for something that you got essentially for FREE!
Now you know why I love property investing?
However, that’s not all. When the price of the property increases, you will be able to sell this one-room flat and earn a profit. Let’s just say the price increased to $250,000. That is $50,000 in profits plus $200 you got every single month!
Are you destined for this?
Let me be a bearer of bad news.
Property investing is not for everyone (yes I said it). Not everyone will succeed in property investing. It is the truth that most others don’t tell you. I do not want you to waste you time and money by telling you that you can do anything in the world.
Don’t get me wrong. You might still be able to succeed with property investing, just not the way I do it (the little money down way).
Now that you are clear, let’s begin to see if you can do this.
Do you believe that you can own properties with little to no money down?
Are you willing to spend little money to no money in order to own properties that are potentially worth $1 million?
Are you able to follow instructions perfectly? (If I tell you to do A, you do A)
If your answers to the above questions are “yes”, congratulations!
You are able to do this!
You are able to own properties with little to no money down.
Do you want to learn how you can do this?
More importantly, do you want to know how you can own 100 properties, just like I do now?
