There’s confidence, and then there’s overconfidence.
While confidence is an absolute mantra in order to be successful and have a more positive and happy life, cockiness
You’ll only be seen with contempt and distaste when you’re overconfident because it leads to nothing but arrogance.
Who on earth would like someone who’s arrogant?
Are they always arrogant?
Some people feel being arrogant is okay because often when you’re plainly modest, there are chances they’d miss out on big opportunities, like some important work projects.
Sometimes when people talk highly about their achievements, others are put off by them, because they think they’re simply flaunting their accomplishments and they’re arrogant; but is it really so?
There are also some people who’d think no end of themselves because of their success; such people look down upon others, and always radiate negative energy.
Others are mostly withdrawn from such arrogant folks because of their bossiness!
Why is confidence important?
Confidence is primarily required for one’s success, be it romantically or professionally.
Being confident about your endeavors will most often end up giving you what you actually want.
Also, when you dress better, you feel better, and it increases your confidence.
When you’re confident about yourself, it makes you feel good from within, and that my friend, is really important!
Differences between a confident and an arrogant person
Arrogant people don’t really make eye contact because they think they’re superior, and if there’s someone who would benefit them instead of you, they’d be more interested in making conversation with the other person.
Also, arrogant people may suffer from inferiority complex and they would constantly want to put you down. Such behavior is absolutely sickening.
A confident person would never do that. They wouldn’t want to put others down in order to feel better, ’cause they believe in themselves.
A confident person believes he is as good as others and is more humble; whereas an arrogant person thinks he is better than the rest.
Their attitudes differ like night and day!

Our attitudes towards others will greatly affect how others preconceive us to be. If you want to be respected and well- liked, being bossy and cocky would definitely not be the way to go.
