It is said that the color of the pillows and the sheets should be light and solid or have very small prints to make everything visually pleasing and relaxing. The light in the bedroom should be soft and dim. You must also keep the bed clean and organized.
Your brain should be associating the bed only with sleep and relaxation and not with anything related to work.
It is a well-known fact that drinking coffee at night can severely interrupt your sleep. For getting better sleep at night, try to avoid your intake of caffeine as soon as the sun in down.
5.) Expose yourself to the sun
Exposing yourself to natural daylight during the day helps in the secretion of more melatonin when it is dark which is responsible for making you feel sleepy.
Expose yourself to the morning sun or go out in the daylight during breaks at work to have your daily dose of sunlight.
